Same here... 'Check application status' page shows my WL letter back from Dec. 2012. I am just being optimistic and assuming that they are short on staff due to recent storm etc.

Not sure if freetz was a 1Y or 2Y app, but it seems like most, if not all of the changes today, have been for the one yr program.

I can see the flow from adcom's perspective.
- Many of us are R1 applicants
- R1 accepts deposit deadline was a week or 10 days ago. So they know who from R1 that was accepted is finally attending.
- R2 regular decision date is 21st March.
- By April WL update date, adcom will have a good idea (Post R2 deposit deadline) about the overall class picture.
- Then they can decide whom to admit based from the R1 and R2 WL pool.
I see the flow, but that doesn't help when you're on the waiting side. Bottomline... nothing till we file our taxes (15 April).

@ tkk . . . sort of makes sense but since most of us fall into the bucket of "waiting for a spot to open up" I would guess 5/7 is our date. That is probably about when R2 sends in their deposits and they can truly see how the class shapes up.
Of course at this point I just want to get in but I REALLY wanted to have the DAK experience
All we can hope now is that a bunch of the R1 admits who put their deposits down end up getting in elsewhere R2 and backing out.

i received an e-mail early this morning (inbox time 2.25 am, 12-mar-13) to remain on the waitlist - R1 applicant, India, waiver, then telephonic. As time passes and the class gets formed, looks like my chances get bleaker.

Late entrant to the discussion, but it seems like a good thing, for us still on the list, that there hasn't been a lot of movement. It's much better than the alternative of a bunch of folks being admitted off the list while we're still in purgatory. Feeling good about April...

Hello all, ironically as I received an admit from INSEAD and Ross, Kellogg took me off its waitlist and gave me admission. I'm almost certain I will go with INSEAD, and am not even waiting for LBS' final decision. Going to write to Kellogg tonight to withdraw my admit. Take care all and I wish you the best of luck with this process that takes so much out of you.
