haha, no I am not loosing my faith in a the admissions' process or my ability to get in one. I am loosing my faith in the overall value of an MBA and whats it made(advertised) to be. But that is a philosophical dilemma for which this forum is not the right place of discussion.

I am originally from Gujarat, India but working in US for last 4 years in Product Design. How about you?

We are literally East and West. I could have guessed from your name but didn't want to generalize. :)
I can understand Bengali a little bit. Spent some time in Kharagpur, WB during my stint with ISRO

After getting WLed by Tuck, I'm thinking about throwing my hat into the ring for R3 for Kellog's MMM program. What do you guys think? I know it'll be rough, but maybe they lack someone who's like me? What made you guys decide to pursue the MMM program instead of just the MBA program?

For me it is a perfect blend of DsignThinking and a businees prorgram. I am more interested in innovation mgmt / product management. Couldn't find a better fit.

I would say it is worth trying. Think about differentiating yourself in terms of career goals. How will you apply this unique program towards what you want to do. Also Kellogg is so much about team work and fit. If you can display that positively then you have better chances. Buy an essaysnark strategy guide for kellogg. It helped me a lot.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

I chose to apply to the MMM program because of it's focus on operations and innovation. My work experience has frequently been in mixed technical environments (utilities, prod dev, etc.) so bolstering my training for where engineering and business intersect was a strong fit.

Fingers crossed...
