I didn't receive the email. It will be interesting to see if they batched emails based on accepts vs. non-accepts and only one of the groups was preemptively emailed by mistake.
Let the analyzing of profiles saying they got the email begin!

Sloppy stuff from Kellogg. I can understand that with the new admissions director they are experimenting, but they also know (and ridicule, like other adcoms) the anxiety of applicants to business schools. They also know a sizeable chunk of applicants are from India and that when this email would go out, the most populous part of the world would be up and checking frantically. If your system isn't ready to go, don't let it go. In the mean time, and not to rub salt on Kellogg's wounds  , maybe this is interesting reading. Same here. Got the email, but the status in the website is still the View Interview Letter. Sinking feeling that it's going to be a ding

Got the same email. But no decision on their status page. But I know, it's a ding, as I was not interviewed, after the waiver. Ah well, it did not hurt as bad, as I saw it coming. Good luck to all the other applicants! I hope you'll hear some good news!

Yeah, got the email too. Figured it was bad news since it wasn't something cheery like "Congratulations, your dream of going to Kellogg has come true!" Logged on to complete the formality of the ding, and couldn't find the result. Thank goodness for the forum, else I'd have thrown up by now! :-O

Ugh it's 1:20am where I'm at, and I was just about to go to bed... then I thought it would be a good idea to check the boards just for the heck of it... only to see SOME people are getting emails with updates!!!!!!!!
