I was wondering, in general, is it best to interview with someone from admissions or an alum?

Honestly, it doesn't matter, they are all weighted the same...or say the admissions office says....and I am inclined to believe them. I mean in you live in the Chicago area, you HAVE to interview with an alum. I do think though that if you can find the time, and afford the expense, it's always a good thing to visit the campus, meet some students, and schedule your interview when you are here.
