Venky, your posts shows same POST #: 305....
it's weird.

Are you referring to the fact that all your posts refelect the total number of posts then I believe its a feature of the forum

Your post # should increase evey time you post a new post.
But as you can see, your previous two posts have same 307.
It is not important.. just interesting... I guess you are posting multiple posts so fast that this website doesn't have time to recognize that these posts are separate...LOL

Actually, everyone's current post total is displayed by their name, so even your very first post and every post since will indicate your current total. Check out your own posts.

YEah I am done with the Interview. I have mixed feeling. On the whole I think it went well. But in retrospect, I think I was too agressive - not sure whether that is a good thing for Kellogg!

It lasted for almost an hour and focused mainly around standard questions:
- Resume related/career aspirations
- Why MBA/Kellogg?
- Some discussions around Kellogg.

I am sure that eveyone can tell that I am just mindlessly killing my time, waiting on the admission decisions and an interview invitation.

Agressive as in too confident (in effect showed arrogance). It felt like I was driving the interview vs her. Not sure time will reveal the truth!

Same here! I wish the admissions process was more transparent so that we could see when and who reviewed our files and their comments by logging into the system!

At times I feel it was very good, at times I feel it was bad. In general it went well, but I feel (in retrospect) that I was too agresive and demosntrated an authoritarian attitude. Not sure whether that is good. It felt like I was directing the interiew.

Like for example when she asked me to talk abt my immediate plans and why MBA - I said that I will explain long term view first to help her understand my short term views and how MBA will help me.

I am not sure whether she will construe that as not be able to answer questions directly!

I don't think there's anything arrogant with the way you answered the question. It makes sense to explain that MBA is your "secret ingredient" to get from A to B and start by explaning B first.

Arrogant, would be (exaggerated for clarity): "My long term goal is to get ahead of the bunch of losers who are happy by staying at their Jr. helpdesk clerk position because it has dental. I know I'm destined for great accomplishments but I need KGSM's MBA to provide the clueless HR staff at major companies of the reassurance they need to quell their insecurities about hiring such a bright star."
