So tomorrow is the big day for the last round of admissions decions to be released. For those that are extended an offer of admission, do you think you would attend the school at this point in the process considering there is a high chance that you will not receive money from the school? I am playing the different scenarios out in my mind and I am not sure if I can stomach taking out a loan for $150K+ :( Any thoughts?

I am a final round applicant. No word yet which is a little discouraging considering other admitted applicants received phone calls on Sunday the day before decisions were released. Do they call if you are wait listed as well?

Only a few people got phone calls. It was specifically one interviewer that was calling the people he interviewed. So don't take the lack of a call as a sign.

Phone call for this round? I do not see much enthusiasm among the applicants for this round. Last year, around this time the forum had more than 20 pages. This year, it is just a mere half of that. If the number of applicants is less, then there should be less waitlisted, and more admitted. But, that does not seem to be the case. I am puzzled.

^ Haha that's what I'm talking about! My interviewer said that a waitlist decision in the final round means we won't know anything for sure until June. This makes it really tough for those of us trying to make living arrangements somewhere. Oh well, what are you gonna do? Good luck to all...

I was on the WL, R3 applicant. Admitted today! Waiting on another W/L decision May 10th, but super delighted with an admit today! I know I'd be really happy in Chapel Hill!

waitlisted. Since I am the last round applicant, previously I thought that in the last round there are only rejected or admitted.
