Hello,
Thanks for your message. It looks like you have a strong university performance, and solid work performance. I would start by considering schools ranked in between 10-20 according to sources like US News and World Report.
In terms of your application, your GMAT score is right in line with these schools rankings. If you were able to get your GMAT scores up by 20-40 points, you would increase your chances at schools in the top 10.
That being said, while scores and GPA are important, crafting the right story in your application will also determine your odds at the top tier US schools. From your profile I would want to know more about the management experiences you’ve had so far as well as your career progression (have you received any promotions?)
It looks like you have most of your experience on the technical side, so if you can talk about management and leadership skills that you’ve gathered that will be applicable to your business aspirations going forward that would help your odds a lot.
At
MBA Prep School, we can help you think through the right ways to shape this story in order to stand out as an MBA program candidate. Please let me know if you would like more information.
Thanks much,
Krista
