How realistic are the Knewton CATs? The reason that I ask is that I have taken the GMAT once before and received a score of 680. I am now enrolled in the Knewton class and on my 1st and 2nd CAT I received a score of 650 and 640, respectively.

Obviously, this is not ideal and I am shooting for the elusive 700 mark. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

We work extremely diligently to make our CATs the most authentic GMAT-taking experience outside of taking the real test itself. We can make this claim because 3 of the original designers of the GMAT created the algorithm for our practice tests.

My 5 Knewton CATs were between 590-660. My 2 GMATPrep CATs I scored 700 & 730. I got more questions correct on a Knewton CAT in which I scored a 620 than on the GMATPrep CAT in which I scored a 700. To me the Knewton CATs aren't really more difficult, they just have a weird scoring system. I take the real GMAT in about a week and will update with my actual score.

Though Knewton tests are really good and also the ques are almost similiar to OGs, but I also doubt their algorithm!
