i hear you mirfan2. The price as well as the 50 point guarantee got me to enroll for newton. talk about right time right place - just the week i was taking my gmat! How far are you from your goal? If it is within 50 points and you really want to make it worth it i think you should go for it since they refund if you dont get 50 points increase. of course it is probably "easier" to get 50 points from 600 as opposed to 680 but if you think your current score + 50 meets your goal then go for it.

hmm that's your call then. I dont think it will be too hard to get to 650 from your base of 600, and if that was the case for you after taking Knewton you probably will be disappointed. I have 640 now so i would be content, not happy to get a 690 (goal is ~720). It is your call since it will cost you 590 or 440 (depending if you do the LUV-GMAT thing) as of now and next week will be back to 690.

Knewton is different from Kaplan in many ways. Here are just a few: 1) We're online-only, so we can dedicate all of our resources to producing a tremendous online course. 2) Because of our online platform we only need to hire about a dozen teachers, and they are some of the best in the world. 3) The developers of the original GMAT algorithm work here. 4) Our course is half the price. Can anyone please tell me how much time I will need to dedicate to Knewton course weekly if I decide to go with the twice a week schedule. (Enough time for the classes, tests, etc.) Thank a lot!

Hey, thanks for the question. At Knewton, we generally recommend students spend as much time outside the classroom as they do inside the classroom. For a section that meets twice a week, this would mean at least 6 hours a week devoted to completing homework, reviewing your work, catching up on concepts, watching concept videos, etc. So it's 6 hours in class (two 3-hour sessions) plus another 6 outside the classroom.
