i like http://www.qixo.com
but for the most part, all these ticket services are the same... i never buy from them directly... i just use their service to search for airfare, then go directly to the airline's website to buy the ticket (save a few extra bucks doing that)...

also, did you try airlines that only sell through their own website, ie southwest?... or you could maybe get a cheap ticket on jetblue, though they fly into long beach... all depends how far you'll go to save money (though if you go too far, that might cost you more money becuase of the time wasted in commute)...

ill be in LA this weekend too... got a ticket on aloha airlines for $100 roundtrip from sacramento to orange county. it would cost me more in gas money to drive it and luckily i have friends to help me out while im down there.

Try Cheaptickets.com and search for the cheapest tickets then go directly to the airline's website.

Also, you could try flying into Burbank, Orange County, or Long Beach.

Depends if someone could pick you up. But I would pay more money and fly into LAX.

guys just make sure you leave lots of time for commuting to the schools. you may not think that there is traffic on weekends, but there is always traffic in LA. Both UCLA and USC are in areas with high density traffic.

From LAX to UCLA (westwood) should take about 25 min without traffic. I would leave 1hr for it just in case
From LAX to USC (Downtown) is about 35 min w/o traffic. leave 1 hr as well

I usually use Qixo.com to find the cheapest rates and then goto teh airlines' website to purchase the ticket.

I am a Star Airlines member, so usually end up buying the ticket from the any of the Star Airlines website.

You gotta leave before 1 hour. You have to drive through to the campus and then find parking.
