Hi Guys,

This ones for the those who've been there done that.

I would like to get some tips for the last month preparation from you guys. I scourged over the web for some relevant info but I could find posts which brief about 'one month gmat prep strategy'. But thats not what am looking for.

I've been preparing for about 4-5 months now and now that my end is near ( :) ), I would like to know how do I gear myself up for the D-Day.

I looked through forums and saw that some gurus save OG12 for the last while just read the error logs. Some take a lot of tests (1 in every 2-3 days) while some cool it down. A few study for 5-6 everyday while some breathe easy.

I would like to know what YOU did for in your last month and whether it helped you. If you were given THAT one month back, how would you use it now. A few golden words in terms of:
1. Study plan
2. Test taking
3. AWA preparation
4. Keeping a positive attitude (right frame of mind).

Please help with some insights! Would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I am also sailing in the same boat. But, i could offer you few tips.

1. Know your Weak Areas :
If Your Weak area is SC : MGMAT SC guide, SC Grail (Aristotle Prep)
If your Weak Area is CR : CR bible (Powerprep)
If your Weak Area is RC : RC99 (Aristotle prep)
If your weak Area is PS/DS : GMAT club forums/GMATclub Tests.

2. Error Log :
Make sure you have one. And go through your errors. The single best way to improve your score is by learning from mistakes. You dont want to waste time on solving questions which you are good at.

3. Give Regular Tests :
GMAT prep (mba.com)
MGMAT Tests (Recommended)

4. Make Notes : Keep revising. This is very important. Your learning should sustain!

Those are good recommendations by leokashyap.
Target at taking 10 tests in all. Take 6 MGMAT tests and 2 GMATPREP tests.Take the GMATPREP tests twice. Keep on going through the books leokashyap has suggested. Though I wouldn't spend too much time on Powerscore CR Bible. Instead practice CR Questions from OG topic wise. That would help your strengthen your grip over the different CR Questions.
Practice 2-4 passages from RC99 each day. And remember maintain your temperament while preparing . GMAT is as much an exam of your nerves as it is an exam of your aptitude!
