Law School grades? [#permalink] New post 09 Mar 2010, 00:52
I am a first year Law Student attending a top 65 law school. After receiving a 3.8 GPA in college (from a small local public school) in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting (I also had tons of student organization activity in UG).

My basic question is, how do B-schools evaluate law school performance?

You are raising important questions which should be part of every MBA curriculum. We need to do better as managers, teachers and learners, to take a constructive and critical approach to transformative change and to create a new understanding of the goals of good business.

Your law school grades won't be an issue (whether they're good or bad) if you have no post-undergraduate full-time work experience. Sooner or later, you're going to have to enter the workforce -- and no matter how many masters degrees you pile up, you're going to have to start in an entry-level position. If you work in law, you're still going to have to go through associate hell at the law firms (no shortcuts). If you decide to go the business route, you're starting at the bottom - oftentimes in positions that are comparable to a college grad with a few years experience, or even a fresh college grad.

Drop out of law school ASAP!!!!!!!!! Law school is such a scam. PLeas read the links below. Don't go to Business school unless it is an Top 10 program, seriously.
