As expected, a futile still-unable-to-remove-you-from-the-WL too. And I highly doubt the 7th-Jul's outcome would be any different.
"We feel that managing the Waitlist in this way will also give you the best opportunity of gaining a place in the class." 7th of July?? (best-case scenario). seriously? you've got to revisit your "feelings", my dear Admissions Committee.

how doable is it for an international to receive a LBS admit on 7 july and start school in late august??

If you are from EU and don't need student visa, I think it's quite easy - just to find accommodation and arrange relocation. But if you're not from EU, visa process could take more than 1 month.

i'm from asia so it will be a challenge. Not forgetting loan application and approval... also, looking forward to 2011 applications... oxford is one possibility. guess i can pm you for advice once term starts

Hello everyone
I am not applying for the MBA but for the MiM Programme. I am on the waitlist since april and I have just received an invitation to a second interview. They're calling it a "Waitlist-Interview". Does anybody know what this means? Will it be similar to the first interview?

From the email LBS sent out, does it mean we actually hear from them on the 7th? It says we get an update after the next internal review scheduled for 7th.

Well folks it is pretty much now or never. You may get an admit, a deferred admit or a ding with a special consideration for next year. Either ways keep fighting, you have waited for so long; don't give up now Good luck.

we should definetely get an update on the 7th of july...
they will probably admit a handful waitlisters...and admit an other handful during july
the rest (big %) will be either ding or invited to continously stay on the wl.....until august...

seriously, there's a possibility that july 7 won't be the end of it yet? there's still the possibility of a gray area after july 7??? it's almost the school year, and people have to make plans!

I think July 7 is judgement day... good luck to all, it's been an honor being on the waitlist with you guys  though it would probably be better for me if you guys all weren't on the waitlist too....
