the figures are coming from a similair school with a comparable size of class and with a similair reputation as lbs, combined with threads of previous applicants to lbs (08 and 09) on the bw platform.....
i agree with you that they seem not to have strongly reduced the wl.... but i would still say that we should be around 20-30...i think much more doesn't make any sense at this point of time......
apparently there are also no new admits....which would mean that yield is in line with expectations....so no room for wl-ers

still on the list. I already commited 8000 euros to ESADE months ago, but might have been willing to write off the money for LBS. I must comit much more next week, so Barcelona it is! Actually, I've been preparing for Spain since March, as I gave up on LBS as soon as I was waitlisted. If this helps anyone in our position in future years, this approach helped immensely with my peace of mind and proved to be the right one for me. Good luck all.

he he he!  Again: "I am writing to let you know that you still remain on the waitlist."!!!  But, a new point in the letter: "At this point we would like to confirm that those candidates who remain on the waitlist once the MBA 2012 Orientation has commenced on 23 August, may be considered for a place on MBA2013 in September. " Well, another days to wait and see ... the saga continues ...

weirdly enough, i had a dream last night before finding out the results. in the dream, a popular song was sung, and it goes:
each passing night...baby please won't you tell me now, cos it gets harder each passing night...
good luck all! i really don't know what LBS is doing. If they don't have space, best to just let us know.

the class is full since a long time... I'm afraid
We should stop waiting
the only thing that can happen now is a miracle to 4/5 of us
or getting a consideration or even better a deferred for next year
Objective is to survive to one or two more waitlist review

does anyone know of anyone else who's been removed from the waitlist and into the class roster? doesn't have to be from GMATClub, i just want to know if it has happened to anyone yet.
further, what exactly does the class of 2013, starting in September mean?! I am referring to this section in the email:
At this point we would like to confirm that those candidates who remain on the waitlist once the MBA 2012 Orientation has commenced on 23 August, may be considered for a place on MBA2013 in September. Please note this is not a guaranteed offer of a place, candidates may also be removed and declined or accepted prior to this date.

The admissions situation this year seems to be quite different from the past. I've seen very few admissions from the waitlist this year, compared to previous years. Good luck all!
