how do we find the LCM and HCF of fractions eg : 3/4 and 7/6

can some one explain

LCM of a fraction is - LCM of numerator/HCF of denominator

21/2 is the LCM of 3/4 and 7/6

HCF of a fraction is - HCF of numerator/LCM of denominator
1/12 is the HCF of 3/4 and 7/6
