Length of school Year for b-schools? [#permalink] New post 14 Apr 2011, 16:17
Hey guys,

Just wondering how long the school years are for the different b-schools.

For example, I know that Ross is known to graduate its students a bit early due to the school year being Late Aug -> End of April ...how does that compare to the other schools? Is there that much variation between them?

Check out this WSJ article: "The Top M.B.A. Programs if You're in a Hurry"

and this "Complete list of one-year and accelerated M.B.A. programs"

I found a list of four Accelerated MBA Programs in US here.

And a list of "Top Ten One-Year MBA Programs" here.

One thing to keep in mind is that with orientation, pre-classes (for those that want to brush up on accounting, excel, and whatnot), etc. school can start rather early. At Kelley, with 2 weeks of non-optional orientation and then 1 week of optional pre-classes, school can start as early as August 9th.

cheers,
Tom
