Less time = Less value?

Would like to get some advice on whether having less time to spend utilizing the university's resources essentially negates the value of going to it, even in top tier MBA programs?
Aim: Chicago Booth
Factors:
Going for weekend part time program.
I live 4 hours drive away.
My background is engineering.
So while a top tier MBA program may have top notch faculty, resources, networks and internships, I find myself unable to utilize them if I only travel to Chicago on Saturdays only to take classes and leave after that. Also, if I choose to stick to engineering industry, does it further erode the value I can get out of Booth as they are known to produce more of other industries?
Thank you.
