...so I decided to become serious about it. I bought
Manhattan SC solely based on reviews here. Somehow decided on
Kaplan math work book and of-course
OG 11 which needed no recommendations. Also went through
Manhattan CR and RC.
It has been 15 days of preparation, can't really comment on my progress. Still the most intimidating part so far is RC for me. I gave a fully confident kick-start to this section but as I went on practicing it started haunting me. Although I have only done 10-15 passages, still my confidence is all flat by my awful performance. I take very long to read it fully and still select all wrong answers.I am beginning to panic even before I start reading it. I foolishly read the same simple line 3-4 times with no output. My basic problem is English not being my mother-tongue. But I am sure quite a number of people here are in same state who are still doing good. My spirit for GMAT is getting low because of this issue, not that I am great in Quantitative but I had hopes that my practice would bring me at least 650-700.
Is this a bad idea to start tests with OG? Should I opt for some easier stuff for beginning? any suggestions? did anybody follow those skeleton strategies of Manhattan's ? Do they really take long or is it just me?
