Do all top schools require school-specific letters or rec to be completed, or are there any that accept generic ones? Do any schools prefer a specific format but will sometimes make exceptions and accept generic LORs?

Sonibubu, I put a copy of the career progress survey for kellogg ambassador thread...that should give you an idea of what they look like. Most have the same general idea. Some have blocks to fill in others want it in a letter format but overall they all want the same basic info.

Might I also suggest the wiki page I did for recommendations (using aau's guide as a starting point, since that was a life saver for most of us 08 applicants).

Kellogg Class of 2010...still active and willing to help. However, I do not do profile reviews, don't offer predictions on chances and am far to busy to review essays, so save the energy of writing me a PM seeking help for these. If I don't respond to a PM that is not one of the previously mentioned trash can destined messages, please don't take it personally I get so many messages I have a hard to responding to most. The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.
