Hi,

Approximately, How many pages should a LOR have?

I have seen LORs that have between 5-10 pages. But, I do not think that my bosses could have time to write many pages on my behalf even though they do appreciate me.

2-3 pages are fine and 1-2 will do if the recommnder provides solid examples to back up his or her claims and observations. Please see "Not the Letters of Rec Too?!?!".

5-10 is almost always excessive.

Good luck!
