Hi,
I have to get 2 recommendations.
Will it hurt me if I do not use my current boss, whom I have worked with for 1 year. But instead use my two previous bosses, I worked for each of them for one year each. All three are at the same organisation.
Thanks

Since you have been there a year, you can't explain your selection of recommenders by saying that your current boss doesn't know you well enough. Similarly, since you are getting letters from two other people at the same organization you can't explain your selection of recommenders by saying you don't want your current boss to know you're applying to B-school. So schools will be left with one conclusion: that you are not sure your current boss will give you a strong enough endorsement. This is not necessarily a major negative, just a datapoint they may consider. If your application and other rec's are otherwise strong this need not necessarily hold you back. Perhaps you could get your other two recommenders to emphasize how well you are doing in your current work (under the current boss)? They would of course have to explain how they know this.
Good luck,
