Like is incorrect, because we are talking about living, which is a verb....
So it is between D and E....
D is incorrect because it is comparing a noun and uses As
Choose E.

Will go for (A). Use of 'As' is wrong since "As" is used to compare when two phrases are used.Also "many another" in (C) is wrong .(B) changes the meaning of the original sentence.The original sentence compares living in two worlds and not their "born.." Hence (A)

Clearly A, many another was a good catch Mukesh  I almost missed it.

The colon is frequently tested. Master its punctuational rules and when in doubt give the sentence that contains it greater precedence.
