I am an Indian applicant and I want to understand what options do I have for financing my MBA if I have a US cosigner. I haven't been to find the correct information anywhere.
Anyone here in my shoes who can help?
If you have a US co signer then all options are open for you. Goto any bank's website - most of them have student loans. Some I know of are Citiznes Bank, Chase, PNC, Suntrust, Discover etc. Your rate of interest options are fixed (typically 5.25% which is low compared to the 7.5 - 8% you will get for loans with co signer) or variable (where this is currently at 3.25% but can go up or down).
Do note that your US co signer needs to have a good credit history - that will directly affect the rate of interest PLUS approval of loan.
