London Business School - age [#permalink] New post 24 Mar 2008, 09:16
I've heard in a lot of discussion that LBS has a younger age that other schools. however I cannot find the average age from the brochures.
Considering that I gradutated at 24 since I attended an Italian university, do you think that it is to late for me to apply for Sept 2009, when I will be 30?

With an average age of 27 and about 5 years experience, I believe LBS would be at the higher end of the top MBA age spectrum. 30 is slightly above average but it is not an abberation nor is it too late.

actually, a look at the LBS website will show you:

Number of students 320
Average age 28.6 years
Age range 23-34 years
Average work experience 5.6 years
Work experience range 2-12 years
Average GMAT score 694
GMAT score range 600-800
Percentage of female students 25%
Nationalities represented 60
Percentage of international students 91%

you're not too far from the average... and the range is pretty broad at 23-34.

Our oldest student is 39 and the average age hovers around 29. Age of 30 at matriculation is just fine.
