Long Term Career Goals [#permalink]
17 Dec 2012, 11:28
Hi,
I was an economics degree undergrad and after 4 years working in the public accounting industry, I want to change careers. Most schools seem to ask for your short and long term career goals, but I honestly don't know what I want to do other than something in the finance industry. I am leaning to something in corporate finance or investment banking but nothing specific.
I am not sure what to write in these essays as I am unsure what my career goals are in the long term.
Any help is much appreciated.
Sean

I think you just need to make a logical career path that corresponds well with your background and experiences. Whether or not you definitely go in this direction is another thing. A good starting point is to reflect on what you are passionate about and what you would want to say that you did with your life.
