I don't think saying that you want to be a MD of an IB is too specific. Definitely would not perceive your goal as anything negative. You know exactly where you want to be in a long run, and that's what b-schools are looking for.

Now if you were to say something like "on a sunny afternoon of March 15, 2018 I will become a Managing Director of Goldman, " you would be too specific. :-)[/quote]
