I really tried to understand where I went wrong with my exam but I gave up because it made no sense. I've been consistently scoring 45-46 Quant and 36-37 Verbal during my mock exams, so to get 37Q,31V on the actual exam.... really messed with my brain! I know that I was definitely a little tried on test day, and I found myself re-reading the questions during the verbal round, but I still don't get it! I wore the ear plugs given to me at the exam center and it did seem to give me a slight headache, but does that really provide an answer to my messed up score? God knows!

Here is a post you might find useful. It discusses the reason people may score less in their actual test as compared with their practice test.

Headache, fatigue and general restlessness could bring your score down somewhat too.
