Looking for WORKbooks [#permalink] New post 19 Jan 2006, 13:40
Hey all, I was wondering if there are 2 really good GMAT WORKbooks. One for qaunt and one for Verbal. I don't want to just keep doing problems over and over. I am looking for something that has a chapter on one thing...like permutations. Then, at the end of the chapter ALL the problems are Permutation problems. Similarly, a verbal workbook that will simplify sentence correct (for instance) into problems of parallelism, then a section on idioms, etc. I have seen some books on AMazon.com, but I am looking for THE BEST ones available. I really value your opinions.

I like the Manhattan GMAT books. You can find them on Manhattangmat.com

The only problem is that they are a little expensive.

You can buy them cheaper if you are a barnesandnobles member or from the for sale posting in this forum or carigslist.

You can also get them on amazon.com. They only sell it for $17.00 instead of $26.00

I believe one of them does. I forgot which one. But I dont see permutation and combination problems that often on the real thing.
