Lost time due to proctor .... [#permalink] New post 16 Jul 2011, 22:04
Took my gmat on 15th july, 2011... was comfortable till the quant section and went for a quick break...after that but when i returned the proctor entered the password incorrectly due to which i lost 2 mins in the verbal section... a section in which i dont have a second to spare...Consequently was under pressure throughout the verbal section...always behind time...Result got 50 in quant and 26 in verbal...630 overall...( quite below my expectation was scoring 700'sin all mocks like MGMAT, GMAT PREP etc) Is there any way to redress the situation????????

Please help!!!!!
Have to submit my gmat scores by 7th august 2011 so i wont get a chance to take a retest again? what should i do ?

Which test center was it?

(the only other option is to retake) and you can only retake once every 31 days..... sorry.
You can appeal with GMAC but the most you will get is a retake, which again won't happen until the 16th of August. Perhaps mention to the school, you may submit a later test score though most do not allow this.

the center is in Chandigarh, INDIA..the school is ISB( Indian School of Business)....could you elaborate on the procedure to appeal? what kind of evidence would i need to give ? i would need to contact the GMAC prior to ISB as i would need to tell them if i have been allowed a retest else they wouldnt consider my case..
