Just took the Gmat today and scored a 530. Confused about my own score because I normally sore 600+ on my tests. I've bought both kaplan/princeton review books. Did the OG and online challenges but I still don't do well on quant because of pacing and time. Extremely frustrated....if anyone on this forum experiences the same problems..please give me some advice.

main problem-pacing and not having enough time to fully think out problems. time pressure increases careless mistakes.

My study materials:
Princeton Review Verbal
OG quant, OG 11th
Kaplan Verbal
Kaplan 800 questions

I have one word - retake !

If you believe that this is not the score you deserve, then take some time off from the GMAT to clear your head, study some more and retake the test.

Good luck

I think my main issue is that I get nervous when I take the GMAT and I end up clamming up and messing up the pacing.

I usually score 44-45 on quant on GMATprep and high 20s on my verbal. I need to work on verbal. CRs and SCs are killing me.

OG-best questions but only questions in the end are harder ones.
Verbal- heard MGGMAT is the best.
Quant- as long as I get pacing down and don't make stupid mistakes i'm sure i can get 45+.

I've already taken the gmat twice and received the same score. This second score has really hit me hard but I just know i can do better. I do much better on paper than on the computer. I'm trying to study smarter..any advice?

Though u got it less, take one more chance.
WOrk on ur weak areas, spend quality time and then reach to a comfort zone.
I think this helps..
