Low GMAT Score -Prospects for Ivy League School [#permalink] New post 11 Aug 2012, 12:50
Hello,

My GMAT score is below 600, and I took it 4 years ago. I'm an MBA and have some publications to my credit, apart from teaching

experience of a few months. Considering that, could please tell me what my prospects are if I apply to Ivy League schools

for a Ph.D. in business?

Thanks.

PhD programs can be even more difficult to get into than MBA program. Why aren't you considering a retake? 4 years ago means the test is expiring soon. Are you applying for next fall?

Why are you targeting "Ivy league schools?" There are tons of great MBA programs that are non-ivy--like NYU, Indiana, and Berkeley to name 3. Your chances are going to be slim at any top school with a score that low. You'll have to be Adam Smith or have discovered a cure for cancer.
