Just took my GMAT 2 days ago and ended up with a 430. I had spent 5 months going over Kaplan,Princeton and ETS books and CD practice tests. I guess I am trying to figure out if my approach was not correct. Is there any specific way of preparing for this exam?

I did well on time. I did finish on time. The Quant was real easy but Verbal was tough. Even though, I did well on all practice tests before I do not know why I performed so badly on the real day. Maybe, I did not focus well on the weak areas. I want to retake the test but not until I find a different way of cracking this.

Hi Hjort,

No. I was not nervous but I guess I was very anxious and a little tires because I made this mistake of cramming till the last day.
