Low graduation marks .Eligible for good college ? [#permalink] New post 12 Feb 2013, 06:04
Hi,
I am a commerce grad with 10 years work experience. My grad marks are less than 50% . Is it practical to write GMAT. Response to my question has been negative. In India i stand no chance to get thru any good school same has been said for abroad colleges . Any guidance on this will be helpful to decide on quitting GMAT and full MBA and look for an alternate Masters

Hello,

It is going to be quite difficult to overcome such a low undergraduate GPA. However, if there is some specific reason for why it was low (e.g., sickness, family issues, etc.), then it may be possible. If it was just lack of effort or lack of ability, it will be hard to get into a good program. There may be some lower tier schools that might take you, especially if you have a strong GMAT score.

Good luck,
Mili
