I am applying to LSE Msc Finance and Accounting and Msc Economic History. I want to know whether I have a strong enough profile to gain admission to one of the greatest economics programs. My goal is to gain FO IBD after completing a one-year program at LSE or Oxbridge. I graduate undergrad this spring and would matriculate into grad school in the of Fall 2012.

GMAT: 710
GPA: 3.85
Major: Econ
University: Non-target but tier 1
Experience: 2 years of part-time work for a non-profit during summers; college varsity soccer

I don't know much about finance and accounting programs, but judging solely from your numbers, you have stellar GPA and a great GMAT score. I don't think it would be hard for you to gain admission unless you run into some bad luck.
