Hi, this was posted a year back. There is something interesting in the way the question was framed. Hence, I am posting it again.
As the question is regarding countering Q's response the ans is A.
Had it been supporting Q's response the ans would have been E.

Good Answer. Almost impossible to find a person between the ages of 85 and 90 years of age using left hands because almost 70 to 90 years ago, punishments were metted out to people who tried using the left hand to eat or write. Which meant that born right handed would mean easier survival

(C) Forcing a person to switch from a preferred hand is harmless.
Irrelevant

Out of Scope. Does not talk about genetic predisposition....

goes against what Q is saying. This statement would mean that it would be easy to find an 85 or a 90 year old.

M is using evidence about 85 to 90 to say that right handed people have survival advantage. He is saying that indirectly. When M said that he can't find left handed people in that age group, he is hinting that lefties don't live long enough and right handed people have survival advantage.
Simply said, the question asks us to find out what M is hinting at.
