If a group of five women is participating in a 400 meter race in preparation for the Olympics, then what is the probability that either Jenny or Sally win the race?

$$1/5$$
$$14/15$$
$$2/5$$
$$1/2$$
$$3/5$$

P(j) = $$1/5$$
P(s)=$$1/4$$

p ( j or s ) = $$1/5 +1/4$$ = $$9/20$$

what's going wrong

1/5 + 1/5 = 2/5 ?

Since they cannot both win, (PnB) = 0, and P(AuB) = P(A)+P(B)+0
