A. 100.00
B. 100.01

\(10.001^2 = \)

\(=(10 + 0.001)^2 = \)

\(=10^2 + 2*10*0.001 + 0.001^2 = \)

\(=100 + 0.02 + \text{ something small} \approx \)

\(\approx 100.02\).

+1 for C. Use (a+b)(a+b) = a*a + b*b + 2*a*b. Solve and get the answer as C.

can someone link similar questions -- changing up arithmetic options / long division / etc like this is one of my weakness areas
