Sorry if this has been asked before. Can't seem to do a search on "m13".

During the break of a football match, the coach will make 3 substitutions. If the team consists of 11 players among which there are 2 forwards, what is the probability that none of the forwards will be substituted?

The answer is 28/55 and I didn't quite comprehend the solution.

I approached it as: first substitution - 9/11 chance forward won't be replaced. Second sub: 8/10 (minus the already replaced one). Third: 7/9. So prob that the 2 forwards won't be replaced the whole time is (9/11)(8/10)(7/9).

If anyone can provide insight it'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You are right my friend 9/11*8/10*7/9 = 56/110 = 28/55 :)
