Does the point of intersection of line y=Kx+ B and line x=Ky+B have a negative coordinate?

1. k > 0, b>0
2. k > 1

Hi

Could someone please draw graphs to illustrate this, i.e, the case when x-coordinate at the point of intersection can be positive ?

Regards,
Subhash

Combining 1) and 2) The answer is YES
x = b(1+k) / (1-k)

Where is fluke and bagrettin? They can answer this with the graphs :-D

I recall that sometime back when I was conversing with bagrettin - this is from his post. line-equation-111181.html?hilit=reflection

Inverse function : function you get after replacing y with x and vice versa. Hence inverse function of y=Kx+ B is x=Ky+B

Yeah, I know the answer, but I want to see how the lines would look like once plotted.
