What is the area of the triangle formed by lines y = 5 - x , 2y = 3x , and y = 0 ?
* 7.5
* 8.0
* 9.0
* 10.5
* 15.0

*

The vertices of the triangle are (0, 0) , (5, 0) , and (2, 3) . The area =\text{base}*\frac{\text{height}}{2} = 5*\frac{3}{2} = 7.5 .
The correct answer is A.

hello, can someone explain why vertices are ( 2,3) ?
and what would be corresponding graph for2y = 3x?
thanks
