I'm gonna go out on a limb and say 16. It appears that the difference each time is 2 and then those 2s are added together 8 times for a total of 16.

well I think the answer is 16.. here's how-

(10-8) + (6-4) + (2-0) + (-2-(-4)) + (-6-(-8)) + (-10-(-12)) + (-14-(-16)) + (-18-(-20))

= 16
