Hello,

\frac{X}{|X|} < X. Which of the following must be true for all X?

Solution:
[Reveal] Spoiler:
X in (-1,0)U(1, inf)

Could someone kindly explain this question? Part of the solution is that X can be an element of {-1,0}? Won't this result in division by 0 and is therefore illegal?

The range is non-inclusive. X must be between -1 and 0 and does not include -1 and 0.
