take prod of 10 person be x..
so of 11 people it will be 1.1x.. and 12 people=1.1x*1.1=1.21x..
reqd ratio=1.21x/x=1.21

I still dont understand the 12pep part..
Q says, 10% increase by one number increase then for 12pep isnt it suppose to be,
1.1x*0.1=?
could you please explain me how you came up with dividing by 1.1??!!

thanks

hi ..if with each person increased , prod increases by 10%...
1.1x*0.1 gives you the increase, which is 10% of the prod of 11 people but to get total we have to add these incr to prod of 11 person =1.1x+.11x=1.21x..
