Total produced rakes = 4x
Monthly shipping = x/2
Storage cost for Mar. = (4x-x/2)*0.1 = 0.35x
Storage cost for Apr. = (4x-x/2-x/2)*0.1 = 0.3x
.
.
Storage cost for Oct. = (4x-4x)*0.1 = 0

Total storage cost = (0+0.05+....+0.30+0.35)X = 1.40X

C it is..

A. 0.40x B. 1.20x C. 1.40x D. 1.60x E. 3.20x Good prob- Nov-Feb rakes produced = 4x Storage cost= 0$
Beg of March- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = 7x/2 storage cost=0.1*7x/2
Beg of April- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = 3x storage cost=0.1*3x
Beg of May- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = 5x/2 storage cost=0.1*5x/2
Beg of June- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = 2x storage cost=0.1*2x
Beg of July- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = 3x/2 storage cost=0.1*3x/2
Beg of Aug- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = x storage cost=0.1*x
Beg of sep- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = x/2 storage cost=0.1*x/2
Beg of oct- x/2 rakes shipped remaining = 0 storage cost=0

Adding = 0.1x[7/2+3+5/2+2+3/2+1+1/2]
=0.1x[16/2+6]
=0.1x *14
=1.4x
Hence C
