Option E correctly use "and" before "the Mahdi in the Sudan" therefore, correctly separate two different clauses

also uses correct parallelism
Thus, answer is E

(A) Manifestations of Islamic political militancy in the first period of religious reformism were the rise of the Wahhabis in Arabia, the Sanusi in Cyrenaica, the Fulani in Nigeria, the Mahdi in the Sudan, and ………after Nigeria, ther should be an ‘and’ to mark the end of the Rise series. There should be the preposition ‘in’ after and



(B) Manifestations of Islamic political militancy in the first period of religious reformism were shown in the rise of the Wahhabis in Arabia, the Sanusi in Cyrenaica, the Fulani in . Nigeria, the Mahdi in the Sudan, and also ……. Same as A; and also the victory is wrong ‘should be in the victory” to keep//.
