(A) the rise of A, the B, the C, and victory of F.... not parallel because missing "of" in B and C etc

(B) in the rise and also victory... (should be "in the rise and in the victory")

(C) the rise of A, of B, the C, the D and the victory... again missing "of" in C and D

(D) again, as in B "in the rise and also victory"

(E) by POE one should choose it and move on... but check it out
"manifested in the rise of the A, the B, the C and the D, and in the victory of..."

E it is

Items in the list should be parallel and should clearly be distinguished:

first list:
rise of the Wahhabis [...], the Sanusi [...], and the Mahdi

second list:
was manifested in the rise [...] and in the victory [...]

manifestation=show, so both used together are redundant. Nix B and D.

manifest in ~ is idiomatic.

(E) survives.

Idiomatic and concise. I think this has been discussed before, but too lazy to search now...

"E" it should be,

This SC has "compound listing", very important lesson :)
This deserves entry into log book as GMAT SC point!
