WRONG.
-USE OF WHICH AND THEM is ambiguous

(B) which makes it easier for it
WRONG
-USE OF WHICH IS AMBIGUOUS
-IT =SINGULAR while SPECIES = PLURAL...pronoun number error.

(C) thus making it easier for them
WRONG.
-USE of THEM is ambiguous.

(D) thus making it easier for the black bee
CORRECT.

(E) thereby, it was made easier for the black bee
WRONG.
-awkward construction.
