That seems like a tough question. I'll stick with A. Failing that, I'll take C.

What's the source of the question?

Stoolfi, A is the official answer. not sure about the source of the question , I got it from another forum.
Could you explain why A is correct.

their needs whose for parallelism and vice versa; with doesn't go with their

Also, 'symmetries are embellished ' is not appropriate in the statement.

I know the explanation is correct, can't put it in technical grammar terminology though.

"whose" is better than "with", because it identifies ownership or custody and is idiomatic.

The clause starting with "their geometrical", if it uses the verb "are", would need to be set off with a semicolon, rather than a comma.
