R1 international admits, did anyone get any kind of grants this year? In my country, all the R1 admits were granted no scholarships, which is quite unusual compared with the situation in last year. Some guys here would seriously consider attending if there is any kind of grants, but now it would make less sense to attend w/o grants while giving up another higher ranked program...

Congrat buddy :cool

Also, I've just received interview invitation. It's quite weird since the deadline for R2 notification passed. So excited ^^. Hence for one who hasn't received news, don't lose hope ^^
Btw, could you share your interview experience? how did it come?

Sorry, paid the $2,500 and haven't heard anything yet.

Interviewed today. It was a very friendly conversational interview. Nothing too stressful. Now the waiting begins.

Can anyone comment on whether we will be notified on April 5 or will they start sending out notifications before then? What happened in other rounds?

In round 1, all decisions were sent out on the published date starting with waitlist notifications in the morning and acceptance calls in the afternoon.

I got an email with a link to the welcome site. Plenty of information on there. Most stuff seems to be due 7/1.

From being in the top 20 4 years ago with a far better placement record, to a 21 in 2012, to a 26th in 2013. Is the continuous decline in the US News rankings a cause for concern? Has Marshall been unable to cope with the changing face of the global economy?

I had my interview on Saturday, and it was probably the most straight forward interview I've had so far. No tricky questions, everything was the typical "why mba, why now, why us, walk me through your resume"..etc

I am also concerned with this trend after seeing the 2013 report released this morning...

I know Marshall completely revamped its curriculum and career center structure 2 years ago so resulting positive effects might be lagging a bit, but I hope things turn around soon. When speaking with current students and faculty, Marshall sure doesn't seem like a program on the decline.

However, it does look like Marshall has held strong as a top 10 entrepreneurship program year after year so this is definitely a good sign.
