I got an MBA.PM video interview email..I thought they stopped those this year. Not sure I'm going to do it.

Hey guys,
How are the round 1 interviews, round 2 applications and the all around waiting games coming along??
For all those who have already submitted their applications, please keep us posted on your admissions progress. Quick write ups summarizing your interview experiences (interview format, questions asked, general mood, etc), application updates (interview invites, final decisions, scholarship offers, etc) and any other news or helpful info uncovered from speaking with the admissions department or students is all extremely valuable insight. This info is beneficial not only for current applicants but also for applicants in future rounds as well as future admission seasons.
Thanks a lot, excellent work so far and good luck to all the other hopeful Trojans out there!

Completed my interview last week. The interview was conducted over SKYPE by a member of the admissions team. The questions were pretty similar to the ones posted by others in this thread.
Walk me through your resume.
Why did you decide to pursue an MBA?
What are your short term goals and long term goals?
Why Marshall?
What is your leadership style?
Any questions for me?
The interview lasted just over half an hour. At the end he asked me to check on Feb 1 for the results and wished me luck.

I know we are reconsidered during every round, and if we are accepted or declined we will receive notification. Unfortunately when I had her on the line, I forgot to ask if our waitlist status would be updated monthly. (ie, whether we receive the same waitlist update at the beginning of every month, if we aren't accepted or declined.) Since we are sort of evaluated "fresh" every round, I'm thinking that we will be notified whether accepted, further purgatory, or dinged. Good luck to you, too!

I just spoke to Kelly at USC. She was very polite, she looked up my file (Nov Applicant), and she stated that decisions will be out by the end of the week. From the sound of her voice it sounded like there was already some sort of decision in my file. However, I couldn't tell if it was good or bad for me.

This all sounds very positive to me. Would Kelly be so helpful, polite and suggestive that your decision has been made if she was looking at a bad result? Then again, the Marshall adcom has always been very pleasant to deal with... Hopefully, your waiting game will come to an end with some good news by Friday! Good luck and keep us posted.

Can someone who has already submitted help me out- I am applying before the Jan 15 deadline and wanted to know if my recommenders can upload and sumbit a consolidated recommendationrather than answer each question individually. anyone have any insight?
